Dorado Country Club Estates is an established golf-course neighborhood on Tucson's east side, inside the city limits in ZIP 85715, running north from Speedway Boulevard in the mile between Wilmot Road and Kolb Road, and wrapped around the Dorado Golf Course. That course opened in 1971 to a Ted Robinson Sr. design and plays as an 18-hole executive layout at par 62 — eight par fours and ten par threes — and it is public rather than a private club, despite the name.
