A golf-resort community in Northwest Tucson's Casas Adobes area, wrapped around the Omni Tucson National Resort & Spa west of North La Cholla Boulevard and north of Magee Road. The community grew up around the resort's championship golf: the traditional, parkland-style Catalina Course opened with the resort in 1962 and went on to host the PGA Tour's Tucson Open from 1965 through 2006 — drawing Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Phil Mickelson, and other tour veterans — before Tom Lehman added the desert-style Sonoran Course (nine new and nine rebuilt holes) in 2005. The two 18-hole layouts span more than 260 acres and hosted the PGA Tour Champions Cologuard Classic from 2015 through 2023, before the event moved to La Paloma in 2024. Homes ring the fairways and bluffs with sweeping views of the Santa Catalina Mountains to the east, and the housing stock is deliberately varied — golf-course condominiums and villas starting in the $200,000s, semi-custom single-family homes, and custom estates approaching and exceeding $1 million, including the newer Hills at Tucson National enclave built by Fairfield Homes.
