Poets Square is an established post-war neighborhood in central Tucson, inside the city limits in ZIP 85711, filling the half-mile square bounded by Fifth Street, Broadway Boulevard, Columbus Boulevard and Swan Road. It is named for its streets: Poe, Whitman, Burns and Holmes run east–west between the numbered midtown streets. Two of its north–south lanes are stravenues — Desert and Venice — a street type carried in Pima County's official address standards and abbreviated STRA by the Postal Service.
